THANK YOU! You really caught onto the subtlety of the poem, which hits on the last line. Optimism was on my mind when I wrote (as well as someone very special). The world has stressed a pessimistic mood with 2020, and to some extent that is the case; however, there are still many things that we should celebrate. Sometimes a person comes into your life and changes your whole outlook, and sometimes the moments get better and we look back at the days in hindsight and realize they were amazing from the start to the end. Being with the right person (friend or lover) can make almost anything feel bearable. Thanks again for commenting. I wish you a fantastic 2021! 💕
