As someone who has a little fear of heights, I probably wouldn’t haha! Great poem and video! πŸ™‚

I understand what you mean. I’m not sure I could do half of these. But maybe it depends on what or who is waiting for you on the other side. I don’t really have a fear of heights, after all, I just have a fear of falling.

      • wardah says:

That’s a really good point! If someone’s waiting for me, cheering me on, I’d probably be a lot more confident! And a fear of falling is scary indeed.

      • bejamin4 says:

“Confidence”: you used the right word. If you feel confident you’ll be more likely to go beyond your normal limits. I think you could do it if you really had to. In the end, we’re always stronger than we think we are (or at least that’s what I’ve noticed).

That’s so inspirational!! We really are so much stronger than we believe sometimes. πŸ™‚

We are πŸ™‚ And let’s not forget it today or tomorrow!

I’m not afraid of heights nor bridges, but this one brought back some memories for me of what it’s like to feel “pregnant with fear.” It’s a terrible feeling… and nearly the opposite of love, and/or of hope… but then opposites often go hand in hand. If someone were to reach that hand… but it’s so hard to do that, and sometimes I guess it has to be us that reaches into the abyss… putting ourselves at risk. It’s very hard to do… but maybe the rewards are greater that way. Then again, timing is everything. Anyway, I love your poetry as always, as lol you must know by now that I do… it always makes me feel, and think. :))

Feel and thing. That’s the best compliment you can pay forward to a poet. Thanks so much πŸ™‚ And, wow, yes, it’s a terrible feeling to have; deep-felt fear of something happening or likewise something not happening that you really want. Sometimes we can only save ourselves, but sometimes it’s nice to have reach for the only hand that can really save us! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You have a grand perspective πŸ™‚

    How profound !! 😊😊

  6. I am a pilot but I don’t like bridges much. I would cross one of those for my M though. πŸ™‚

    • bejamin4 says:

Well, that’s all that matters sometimes. If you’re willing to cross for the right things! πŸ™‚ Always interesting to hear your thoughts. And you know how to fly (very impressive!).

Those are quite the fear-inspiring bridges. Creative Benjamin.
