You are forever the love poet, Benjamin.

Yes, for as long as she’s in my life. But, I have a sense something else is brewing in the distance. Who knows where words will ever lead us next.

      • V.J. Knutson says:

So true. I wrote of pain and despair for so long, I got sick of myself – that was an opening, I believe for something new. (Or maybe I’m deluding myself, lol.)

It might sound trite, but every day is a chance for something new, a fresh start, a better direction. But still: pain, despair, love: those will always be poetry’s best friend. I’m sure you’ll go somewhere breathtaking next. Your words have that ability to travel anywhere. A very timeless quality to them. Have a great day!

        Wisdom, my friend. You too!

    “I didn’t need 240 moons
To want you 8 days a week” brilliant line!

Makes me want to be in love. 😊πŸ₯°

    Sweetness itself.

  9. Lia says:

Your poetry always blows my mind. In a way that is utterly divine. Sweetness itself indeed. And I crave to read you 8 days per week. Or sometimes 9. Your clever way of working with words and numbers is so intoxicating… better than wine. It’s a kind of deep music, so very fine. πŸ™πŸ”†πŸŽΆπŸŒ€πŸŒŒπŸŒ·

  10. I love the last line. πŸ™‚

  11. To recognise the value of what one has isn’t always easy and doesn’t come to everyone. You have written this so well, Ben. Heartwarming! ✨

You’re right. It’s hard to find someone you can connect with on every level (intellectually, emotionally, romantically, spiritually). However, if you ever find that kind of celestial connection … it’s probably best to never let it go. Thanks for your kind words!

  12. Another lovely piece…
