Wow. It takes so much skill and talent to produce songs like this… yet it flows naturally. All the elements are there in perfect measure… the lyrics are magnetic even before listening, then there’s the amazing music. Stunning. By the way I love those lines about “Jessie’s Girl” and “Her accent even has the same damn swirl” – it gives that irresistible sense of mystery, but moreover it clicks lyrically so perfectly, as well as with the bright swirly elements in the track. Also, the lines “I could’ve married you yesterday/But you’re married in another way” are ubiquitously relatable as they could be about someone married to their work or creative passion. The vibe is intensely personal yet the work has that universal quality… super bravo! 👏👌🙏✨
