Cuneiform

I learn your intricate language
wedged between shapes:

a soft tablet
                  in need of an impression
                                                          with a reed stylus

  1. Wow Ben! I remember you with your small lines that speak so loudly.. your minimalist form that says so much…like this one…sensual, understated, hinting at much more. She is lucky you know how to read rare languages:)

    • Minimalism: that’s one of my favorite words when it comes to writing. If you can imply the things that aren’t there, you can do so much more while keeping everything sparse. Glad you found more than the words here. Thanks as always. Love how you view things! Your perspective is very different than my own, but also very much the same. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks again!

This is just a masterpiece, so few words, spoke layers of meanings. I needed to read this poem to be inspired to write again..thank you!
