How did your writing change with the time Benjamin? Do you observe some important points?
That’s a very deep question you asked. And very hard to answer with brevity. But I think I now know how I want to write (and most of the time, what I want to write). As for the most important points: 1) write what keeps you excited to write the next day 2) write what keeps the page from remaining blank. 3) And keep writing no matter what if you enjoy doing it 4) don’t self-reject your work. Many more, too. But only can think of this write now.

How did I miss this? It’s been a pretty full week! I agree with the others’ comments above — your poetry exudes pure love. Also just realizing I apparently missed World Poetry Day!! Guess I’m pretty out of touch with current events some days. Anyway, always lovely to read your love for your lady. 💗
Sounds like you should write a belated World Poetry Day Poem for missing it, yes? It’s all right you missed it, however. Everyday is a holiday or some special day these days. It never ends, so I’m sure most didn’t know. I hope you’re well! And thanks a lot. I just hope this isn’t the last poem. 🙂

Yeah, I never wondered using “you” could make my poems more relatable. I mostly always write poems with a person in my mind. Yeah, it must be same with many people. I agree it’s really cool to see how other writers think and process their writing.
Yeah, I think the “you” can do that. But, of course, there are songs about a certain person, and even names them in the song and people still relate to it as well. So all the rules and ideas can always be broken, and most things seem to be fluid in life.
Yeee, everything is fluid. Personally, I like breaking rules. Even my poems never rhyme! hehe!
This is profound and flamboyant and wonderfully crafted. It’s really this short bite of coming of age romanticism if you will. Reading it actually makes me smile. Isn’t there so much more poetry around us than there is in all of our notebooks?
