Since you’ve been gone
I’m avoiding words
Most of all poems
Can’t wrap my hand around a pen
And advocate the heavenliness of love
When I’ve been forcefully converted
To a sad poet by its forsaken desires

Inked
I’m infatuated with the speed at which you spill your ink
Imagine all the ways you guide your pen over a page
Fantasize about how you dot your i’s and cross your t’s
And now I can’t stop thinking of collaborating
In The Beginning
When I saw you
my world expanded,
literally, for you were
an undiscovered galaxy
with the most breathable air
and the prettiest stars.
However, when you saw me,
you just thought of one
big bang.
Realizations
Knowing you
Has taught me
There is something
Beyond beauty
Beyond love
Beyond even heaven
Adulting
This bubble is no sanctuary
To miss the fantasy outlook
Of younger years is a judgment
On Greatness
Chain imagination to unrestrained passion
A Line
My heart falls asleep when you’re not around
On Writing
Never a guarantee of words
Sometimes just a wall
Or rather a block
The Natural Cycle
Just as every day falls to night
Every daydream becomes a nightmare
But this is only the natural cycle of things
Nothing you should worry about
Measured Feelings
I stepped on the scale to decide (once and for all)
The weight of sorrow and
Found its heaviness immeasurable
