I think
I’m choking
On holy water;
Floundering in
The Fountain of Youth;
Struggling with
This noose
Around my heart;
Found an empty
Pot of gold at the end of the rainbow …
Maybe love

As long as there's breath, there will always be HOPE because nothing is pre-written and nothing cannot be re-written!

Whoa… how do you write like this? Felt every word… and hoped it were not true…

I thought the word was ‘loved’…but it is another level….great match of choking-noose-death
Thanks π
Love and loss certainly go hand-in-hand. Interesting.
They do. Unfortunately, they do.
Is it possible to love something that is also sad? Yes? Well, I loved it.
It’s very possible. Thanks.
Beautifully expressed.
Thanks so much!
Good one βπ»
Thanks. Means a lot to hear you say this!
Welcome π
So true, romantic love has broken my heart many times, so now Iβm extra cautiousπ
It breaks all our hearts π¦ But eventually we find someone who knows how to put the pieces back together, I think. And it’s good to be cautious. But we must be open too so things can come in. You’re a fantastic person; you’ll attract good things. I know it!
What a surprise in the end.. Nicely constructed!
Thanks so much!
