And vice verse, I wonder? No, perhaps not.

I hope you are slowly freeing yourself from that pain you don’t deserve.

    • Thanks, Joanna. I think we’ll always have pain in our lives, but it’s knowing which ones are worth enduring and bearing through and being honest about the ones we no longer need in our lives and detaching ourselves from those if possible.I hope you’re doing better! Stay safe!

A voice can have such control, can’t it?

This is a powerful, thought provoking and deep piece. I absolutely love it, Ben. The way you take such simple words and turn them into something so intricately divine is really cool to see. And yes, voice does have so much strength and meaning. Well done, my dear friend. Keep taking care of your big heart and awesome soul πŸ€—πŸ–€

And some people find it romantic. πŸ˜€

  7. I agree with Chris Hall – the reverse can happen too. But I understand how a loved one can make most words sound wonderful. It’s about the person, not necessarily what they’re saying. You have a lovely economy in your expressions.

    • Almost everyone has a very unique voice. It’s interesting to think about the music of the voice and what goes into producing it. “It’s about the person […]”: so true! I enjoyed reading your thoughts. Thanks a lot for this!

I can’t help reading this as anything but a short sexy poem! πŸ˜€ And why not?! Loving your minimalist poems! ❀

  15. This sounds so pure yet so sexy. πŸ’œ

  16. Perfect! This one made me laugh, Benjamin, because my ex- used to say that I made the F-word sound like poetry! 🌞
