Flexible Structures

By Benjamin Grossman and Kritika Tanvi

Delicately close the distance between our pens
Stretch your words to fit within each sentence
Would you rhyme to make their rhythm intense?
Or would you let free moves to mesmerize with their dance?

Press your ink to the page without hesitation
Feel the scintillating words with sensation
Craft a letter that has never been written
Look at the two swords profoundly smitten
A phrase that has never been expressed
A love that awaits to be transgressed

Between the comma and the period
The opening and the final full stop
Show me the outline of your heart
Having sagaciously built the base
Patiently engrossed and embraced
The calmness of strength speaks for the aura of this beautiful art
