Lost power
Still had to say
If your love
Was a flower
It would grow
In all seasons
All climates
Night and day

J have to admit that I rather like your little poems, shining like little jewels, this time of year, in the snow.
Thank you, Benjamin.

Sweet of you to say, really. Thanks a lot! Stay safe!
Benjamin! You are back… missed you and your poetry. Hope you had a good Christmas. This is so so beautiful… new, fresh, nature-creative… wow…. lovely ❄️🔆🌱
Thanks. The holidays have been good. I hope you have had the same. I can only take so much credit for this one. Sometimes the ideas just come from above and beyond ourselves! But thanks for the good words you left.
I so get what you mean by that (the credit thing)… truly. Has been very stilting for me lately actually… many suppressed poems due to not knowing if or how to give credit, for something that seems intangible to begin with… real though the inspiration is. Thanks for the kind reply :))
Most of the credit is with the artist, of course. Though many say it’s only a higher power (even prominent artists might say this). Inspiration come and goes. Idea, too. This idea came from the twin or better half of myself, the words from the ether of creativity. Thanks again. And you’re welcome!
Perfect way of putting it… perfect. 💛
That’s beautiful. I hope someone found your snow poem before it disappeared. 🙂
Thanks. They might’ve with any luck. I hope they could read my snow handwriting, though.
Interesting photo – demonstrating that poetry is to be found in all condtions.
Yes, exactly that. Seems like we can find the words anywhere and everywhere.
You are a gifted one. This verse is fluidly flawless.
Much thanks! Appreciate the encouragement!
Beautiful just like the fresh bloom Ben. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!
Thanks so much. I did. Have a fantastic week!
Lovely words…
Thanks!!!
Lovely. It clings to mind at once. 👍☺️
Thanks big time!
As you said Benjamin, and you know I know what you are saying, “sometimes the ideas come from above and beyond” oh yes, but you pulled down a compact diamond, that sparkles on the snow:) I love it! (could you tell?:)
Thank you, Karima. Yes, they come from above and beyond and sometimes you might even find them in another. And I do think I see what you’re saying, but I didn’t notice it before. Your presence if always appreciate here. Do have a lovely start to your week!
Love the writing in the snow, with the footprints. A beautiful poem, as always!
Oh I love the creativity of your snow writing Ben and your poem… Is delightful too 💜
Thanks. 🙂
Beautiful poetry! It would be great if you guys could check out my page! Specifically my short stories. I’m still kinda of new here and I’m trying to grow it!
Perfect canvas for that ♥️
It was! 🙂
So different – lovely. 🙂
🙂
That flower is indeed a unique and eerie one… 💝
You’re right. But eerie in a good way, then. Thanks again for reading and commenting 🙂
It’s eerie in the most beautiful way 😊
The impact of the words on snow is beautiful.
Thanks. Glad to hear you thought so!
Welcome 🙂
This was beautiful! It made me smile… that’s what true love is 🙂
Thanks. I agree with you! True love is something else!
You have an excellent imagination, probably driven by pure emotions and contentedness. This is beautiful. 🙂
Thanks 🙂 The love for another can often bring out the best in you.
It’s as straight forward as that. Absolutely!
