Words in the Snow

Lost power
Still had to say
If your love
Was a flower
It would grow
In all seasons
All climates
Night and day

J have to admit that I rather like your little poems, shining like little jewels, this time of year, in the snow.

    Thank you, Benjamin.

Benjamin! You are back… missed you and your poetry. Hope you had a good Christmas. This is so so beautiful… new, fresh, nature-creative… wow…. lovely ❄️🔆🌱

    • Thanks. The holidays have been good. I hope you have had the same. I can only take so much credit for this one. Sometimes the ideas just come from above and beyond ourselves! But thanks for the good words you left.

I so get what you mean by that (the credit thing)… truly. Has been very stilting for me lately actually… many suppressed poems due to not knowing if or how to give credit, for something that seems intangible to begin with… real though the inspiration is. Thanks for the kind reply :))

      • Most of the credit is with the artist, of course. Though many say it’s only a higher power (even prominent artists might say this). Inspiration come and goes. Idea, too. This idea came from the twin or better half of myself, the words from the ether of creativity. Thanks again. And you’re welcome!

  7. Lovely. It clings to mind at once. 👍☺️

  8. As you said Benjamin, and you know I know what you are saying, “sometimes the ideas come from above and beyond” oh yes, but you pulled down a compact diamond, that sparkles on the snow:) I love it! (could you tell?:)

    • Thank you, Karima. Yes, they come from above and beyond and sometimes you might even find them in another. And I do think I see what you’re saying, but I didn’t notice it before. Your presence if always appreciate here. Do have a lovely start to your week!
